Magnetic Therapy or Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy  (or  EMTT®) uses high energy electromagnetic radiation to painlessly penetrate deep into the musculoskeletal structures relieving chronic inflammation and pain. It has been shown to reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines which promotes healing. EMTT® was developed and researched extensively in Europe, is FDA-cleared and is fast becoming a leading treatment modality for orthopedic disorders around the globe.

Note that due to the strength of the electromagnetic waves, patients who are pregnant or have pacemakers or other implants should not receive EMTT®.

EMTT can penetrate deep into musculoskeletal structures relieving chronic inflammation and pain.

  • osteoarthritis of spine (spondylosis, herniated discs)
  • osteoarthritis of the extremities (hips, knees, shoulders, elbows, hands)
  • chronic low back pain or lumbar radiculopathy
  • chronic inflammation of the tendons and/or joints due to overuse syndromes or past sports injuries

EMTT is a non-invasive and painless alternative to surgery.

Treatments sessions take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on the area of concern and depth of treatment. There is no direct contact with the device so patients can remain clothed and be completely comfortable. Typically patients will need about eight treatment sessions, however patients often report notable improvement after significantly sooner.

Restoring muscle tissue, joint and bone function allows for a much better quality of life.
